Check one.

Today's *blizzard* had us dabbling in the art of Japanese paper folding.  It took me STRAIGHT back to 1989, 4th period, social studies.  I believe I had also mastered the "collared-shirt" fold, if only I could find that worthless piece of knowledge.  I'm quite sure it is filed next to "Techniques for making straight Asian hair curl and stand 6 inches tall".

I had all kinds of stuff lined up for Blizzard-palooza '11, and some of it got done and some of it didn't.  Mostly because I have a cold (again, WTH) and I woke up looking like Nanny McPhee after she got hit by a mack truck.  With a pimple/horn between my eyebrows, just to kick me when I am down, snotty and hacking like an emphysema patient.

But the power is still on, my husband stayed home, the kids are whack-job Wii addicts and I took a 3 hour nap.  Which, coincidentally, made me feel WORSE.  I am now loaded up on sleepy-sleepy time drugs which could kick in at ANY MOMENT, and so, much like the start of  January, I am going to enter February in the time zone of a small island in the Western Pacific, I'm sure.

I'm starting to see fuzzy little armadillos.

Time. To. Go.

I think that the only thing that your thumb and my thumb have in common is...

they are thumbs.

Mine look like old lady thumbs. Yours are cute.

I hope you feel better tomorrow,it's not fair when the mom gets sick.

I'm a fan of snowpocolypse. Although most of what we have is sleet.
