I apologize, but I am mostly brain dead.

I want to say something coherent here, but the CARDINALS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS.  It's impossible not to be consumed by this, right now.  In fact, it's a lot like watching the Dillon Panthers in the state championship game--except this is REAL LIFE.

I wish you all could live in a city like St. Louis during the post season; or more specifically, in these past two years.  I can't even come close to describing the energy that buzzes through the grocery store and carpool, except to tell you that it is electric and COMPLETELY exhausting.  It would probably be different if ANYONE expected this, but instead, we're thrown into the middle of something amazing--and NOBODY wants to blink, because then we might miss it.

I LOVE being a part of a city that is collectively rooting for something; and not tearing each other apart.  I LOVE that we are cheering for something.  I LOVE that we are tired, but happy.

I'll be back next week to tell you how I am PARALYZED over whether my kid needs braces, and how I weenied out and bought a PLAIN, BLUE iphone case, because the monogrammed choices overwhelmed me.  True story.

Until then...GO. CARDS.
