There is a group that decided to make these for our Christmas party at work to save money. (This is the one party I don't have to do at work.) And, I think they were making balls for months! (I also got out of the twine balls because I am pregnant and they were smelly.) But, if it makes you feel better, they looked awesome at the party. Glad to see you got your fix at QT.
